CAMPGROUND on Tour and Oh What a Feeling!
POSTED: MAR 31, 2016
After a whiz bang opening in the fall in Nelson, CAMPGROUND is off and about, hitting Kaslo and the Vallican Whole Centre. Then its off to the Gabriola Theatre Festival this summer and Cranbrook and all points Kootenay in the fall.
BREAKING NEWS! I will be MC-ing at the Kaslo Jazz Etc Fest again this summer, very excited to hobnob with the amazing talent that Paul Heinrichs is bringing in this year. There is also a rumour that the Cromoli Brothers will be doing a set, nothing confirmed.
HELLO BABY is heading to the Hornby Festival on Hornby Island August 5.
CROMOLI BROTHERS RUNNING FOR SUPREME LEADERSHIP + STAR WARS!!!
POSTED: AUG 31, 2012
The time has come.
After recent events in the world infrastructure and global economy caused by grotesque greed and power hungry jerk pants and the highly contentious happenings at the Canadian women's soccer team's bid for Olympic Gold (That was a hand ball?), The Cromoli Brothers have decided that enough is enough.
They have decided to take matters into their own hands and are officially announcing their bid to become Supreme Leader of the World. Who better to lead us into a new age of peace and good times than the fun loving Dynamic Vaudeville Duo The Cromoli Brothers? No one's better!
Their inaugural campaign performance will take place at the Capitol Theatre on Friday and Saturday, October 5 and 6 at 8 PM. Tickets are currently available by calling 250 352 6363 online at www.capitoltheatre.bc.ca for $16.
They will reveal their platform and discuss, with the help of a ukulele and various other small hand-held instruments, what makes them the RIGHT CHOICE to bring our entire world into a more peaceful, happier, and brighter future with less human suffering and cholesterol.
VOTE ONCE, VOTE OFTEN, VOTE FOR THE CROMOLI BROTHERS!
To help them in their quest for global domination (of the most benevolent kind) they are holding a very exciting campaign FUN-raiser.
Hometown boy Charlie Ross is taking a break from his world tour of ONE MAN STAR WARS TRILOGY to bring the award winning show to the Capitol Theatre Stage on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 8 pm ! Tickets here http://www.capitoltheatre.bc.ca/event_details.php?id=455sub2467
Performing all three of the original Star Wars trilogy in one hour, Charlie plays everything from the holograph of Princess Leia to the Millenium Falcon (personal favorite: the pitch perfect Luke Skywalker whine "But I was going to the Tosche Station to pick up some power converters." Golden).
He has performed on Conan O'Brien and been featured in SPIN Magazine and toured the show internationally for the last 10 years. This is an opportunity to experience a truly unique performance of the iconic films that affected many of us intrinsically. And its freakin' Hilarious!
To Recap (cause I know its busy times)-
